Jamming 101 Workshops are flexible in customizing the approach to suit each venue. They work well indoors or outdoors, morning or evening, and are totally self-contained — the venue need only provide the time and place!
More and more festival and music camp directors are agreeing, Jamming 101 is an asset that increases jamming in the camps and attendee enjoyment. The camaraderie and networking that happens in camps that play music together also builds "word of mouth" promotion for the event. More jamming = improved participant experience = increased ticket sales for event next year.. It's a formula that major musical events are discovering, including the Strawberry Music Festival (twice per year!), Kate Wolf Memorial festival, Live Oak Festival, The CBA, and many more (see events/workshops page). Students of Jamming 101 repeatedly express excitement and gratitude for a "safe" place to jam, and 90% come back for more classes. Our questionnaires show that students have begun to follow Jamming 101 to events they would have otherwise not gone to, and our crowd or "repeat pickers" is getting bigger by the summer.

Average Jamming 101 workshop statistics:
- Workshop length: 1 hr (min 1 hr either side for set-up/tear down)
- Workshop provides: All instructional materials and program. Folding chairs, PA system and storage trailer. (see contract for details)
- Workshop needs: space for at least 50 folding chairs in a large circle, space for display table and storage of box-trailer.
- Workshop prices: standard price for each 1 hour workshop is $200 with various discount rates being available for weekend or week-long events. Jamming 101 may offer an "auditionary" trial rate at $150 per class, please inquire. (note to festival directors: we are very flexible in bringing Jamming 101 to your event for a first time "auditionary" program, feel free to negotiate these figures with us...we'll probably agree to something!)
